Today Dr. Lynch called and said that they recommend we go see a Plastic Surgeon in January, and they don't recommend any other imaging before that appointment. She said the plastic surgeon , Dr. Clay, will determine if he would like to get any additional imaging after looking at Allie's head. Dr. Lynch is thinking it is a dermoid cyst, even though the neurosurgen said that it wasn't.
So, we still don't have any answers. The doctor also recommended due to the faster than normal growth of Allie's head that we get a head ultrasound done to make sure there isn't any extra pressure on her brain - they will do the ultrasound through the soft spot "fontinelle" on the top of her head. We are going to the doctor tomorrow morning at 10:30am to get that done.
We were hoping for some answers, but again are left not knowing what it is. I'll update with what we find out tomorrow.
